McKenzie Fire and Rescue Maintenance division takes great pride and strong dedication to the service it provides the Fire Department. Here is a list of things you may not know about our division and what we do. During the Year apparatus and equipment are maintained "at the ready" for emergency operations. During the summer highly skilled volunteers and staff go through every inch of the equipment to insure its performance and maintain its life. Engines are pump tested to meet the NFPA requirements. All structural hose and ladders are tested by third party specialists. Once a year all SCBA’s are tested by Sea western, which gives the department the insurance in knowing the equipment they use will work. All the work this division performs relies heavily upon department volunteer and staff feed back. It is imperative that we hear from you, if you experience equipment problems please let us know. All stations are supplied with repair requests, please be as detailed as possible and notify your station officer.
