Becoming a Volunteer Firefighter
Whether it is a fire, motor vehicle accident or medical emergency, district residents expect McKenzie Fire & Rescue's help. Everyone in our community needs someone who cares and is willing to step up to help our citizens when they are in need. That someone can be you! Today there are many demands on our time, and firefighting or emergency services do require specialized training. However, if you have a sense of civic pride, if you want to see immediate results of a job well done, if you have the heart and spirit to make your community a better place to live, then consider volunteering with McKenzie Fire & Rescue.
